June 25

Join us on Thursday, June 25 for the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson at OC Waterpark! This free global event raises awareness about the importance of teaching kids to swim and to prevent drowning. We’re proud to be a host location for the third year in a row, bringing together local safety teams to help promote awareness and preparedness both in and around the water.

Doors will open at 8:30 AM with informational booths from local emergency management agencies, followed by the swim lesson at 10 AM. Pre-registration is required for swimmers, so make sure to sign up on our website before the event.

Summerween

June 27 – 28

Who says spooky season has to wait until October? Join us for Summerween at OC Waterpark, where Halloween meets summer sunshine! Enjoy a spooky scavenger hunt, sweet treats, and special stilt-walking performances from Patches the Scarecrow. Costumes are welcome (and encouraged!) but not required.

Shark Week

July 6 – 10

Dive into a week of jaw-some fun during Shark Week at OC Waterpark! Guests can enjoy shark-themed games, scavenger hunts, prizes, and our limited-edition Shark Bite Slushie available for one week only. This kid-friendly event is packed with fantastic surprises!

Spirit Day

July 11

It’s game day at OC Waterpark! Join us for Spirit Day by rocking your favorite team jersey while enjoying sports-themed activities, free face painting, and family fun around the park. Plus, guests wearing jerseys will receive a FREE Mister Softee ice cream as part of the celebration!

Christmas in July

July 24 – 25

Experience a little holiday magic in the middle of summer at OC Waterpark! Celebrate Christmas in July with festive activities, beautifully decorated trees created by our staff, and magical appearances from Elsa for some extra holiday cheer.

Mermaid Mania

July 31 – August 1

Mermaids are making waves at OC Waterpark during this two-day immersive mermaid experience! Guests can enjoy all-day meet-and-greets, magical interactions, and story time sessions from our talented mermaid performers swimming throughout the park. Perfect for little dreamers and ocean lovers alike!

Sensory Night

August 8th

Join us for Sensory Night, a special evening designed for kids in the special needs community and their families. From 6–8 PM, the park will offer a calmer, more comfortable environment with reduced noise, softer lighting, and space to play at your own pace.

This private event is a great opportunity to enjoy the waterpark with fewer crowds and a more relaxed atmosphere.

Hawaiian Luau

August 8-9

Escape to island time during our Hawaiian Luau at OC Waterpark! Enjoy a weekend of tropical-themed fun, activities, and surprises throughout the park, plus special appearances from Lilo & Stitch. Don’t forget to wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt!

Pirate Party

August 15-16

Ahoy, mateys! Get ready to set sail for adventure during Pirate Party! Our park will transform into a pirate paradise filled swashbuckling fun for the whole family. Keep an eye out for real pirates roaming the park: they’ll be causing mischief, posing for photos, and handing out treasure to lucky guests!

Kidfest

August 21

Step right up, Kidfest is taking over OC Waterpark for the most playful day of the summer! The park will transform into a mini kid-carnival packed with color, characters, and nonstop fun. To wrap up summer, enjoy face painting, balloon creations from a princess, special appearances from Bluey, and a giant foam party to close out the day.

Mermaid Meet and Great

August 23

Get ready for another magical Mermaid Meet & Greet as Mermaid Brizo returns to make waves. She’ll be splashing through the park, meeting guests, telling stories, and adding a touch of ocean enchantment to your summer day.
